Rashad spearheaded several ground-breaking initiatives that served to advance religious freedom for all, and particularly for minority religious communities.

From helping organize Muslim leaders on two trips to visit Holocust sites to address Holocaust denial and strengthen the interfaith commitment to combating atrocity crimes, to guiding an interfaith delegation to Egypt to help protect the Coptic Christian community.
